My fav bike for sale at the HUB at the moment is a late 80’s / early 90’s Torelli hand built in Italy, custom bicycle. It is for someone in the 6’2″ range. This is a classic bicycle that evokes the golden era of custom Italian frame builders. They were true artists using a welding torch instead of a brush! You can see the craftsmanship in the precision finishing and tapering of the lugs. The paint is a luminous green that comes alive when the sun shines on it.
With new high-end bicycles mostly made from carbon fiber, many have not experienced the supple, responsive ride unique to steel. The bike is fitted with a Shimano Dura Ace gruppo and very unique wheels with Torelli rims made by Ambrosio.
