A Different Kind of Biker Gang

A Different Kind of Biker Gang

Event, HUB Club Youth Program, Ventura Bike HUB
This year, children and teenagers from the Ventura area who have been signed up through The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program are going to find something special under their tree. "In Ventura, Cyclists to Ride for Safety, Awareness" -VC Star, November 22 by Jennifer Letzer VCCool and the Ventura Bicycle Union along with many friends from Oxnard, (and even an artist from L.A.) are taking it to the streets. We are bringing awareness and solutions to the traffic casualties that bikers and walkers are experiencing. Our Message This is a public safety issue and must be addressed. People are getting hurt and killed on our roads - but many, many more people are sick and dying due to in-activity. Fear of active transportation is resulting in epidemic rates of heart-disease, diabetes, asthma, and obesity. Everyone deserves safe roads. TAKE ACTION X 3 1.) Bicycle Awareness Ride Saturday, November 23, 2:00pm-4:30pm, Starting at the HUB Community Bike Shop 1150 N. Ventura Avenue, Ventura Wear signs…
