Come to VCCool’s 7th Annual Youth Bicycle Safety Rodeo! It’s the biggest youth bicycle event of the year. A fun and exciting event for the entire family. VCCool wants to make sure youth have the bike equipment, a safe properly -working bicycle, and a strong understanding of bicycle “street smarts.” We’re also bringing in the COOLNESS: a bicycle fashion show and “Bling my Bike.” Features Include:

  • Bicycle Helmet Fit – Free helmet to all youth (19 and under) who need one. Special gift to all youth who have one.
  • Bike check and basic repairs – Free to all youth (19 and under)
  • Bike Driver’s Test – High School students– Free odometer for scores 80% and up, plus chance to win one of two new bikes.
  • Know your rights and bicycle laws on the road. Bikes are Traffic – no matter what age the “driver!”
  • Bicycle Fashion Show 11:00am – Cycle Chic – Thrift-Store to the latest threads, with donations from Patagonia and other local businesses. Fashion auction to raise funds for safer roads for bicycling.
  • Bling My Bike – a hip craft table where youth can create bike-art to adorn their Rides.
  • Skill Course – Once you and your bike are ready – try your skill! With a special new wing for youth 15 – 19.
  • Chance to win one of two brand-new bicycles by completing all age-appropriate stations. Raffle
