BikeVentura is excited to welcome Vanessa Savelich as our Interim Executive Director.
Vanessa steps into this role with a deep commitment to community service, education, and creating opportunities that help people thrive. Throughout her career, she has been passionate about programs that empower individuals – especially youth – through hands-on learning, mentorship, and access to safe, healthy activities.
As she begins this new chapter with BikeVentura, Vanessa is spending time connecting with staff, volunteers, board members, and community partners to better understand the organization’s impact and the many people who make the work possible. From the Bike HUB to community programs across Ventura County, she is focused on listening, learning, and building strong relationships that will help move the organization forward.
“BikeVentura has an incredible foundation built by dedicated volunteers, staff, and supporters,” Vanessa shared. “I’m honored to step into this role and help continue the work of expanding bicycle education, improving access to bikes, and strengthening connections throughout our community.”
In the months ahead, her focus will include strengthening partnerships, supporting existing programs, and helping ensure that BikeVentura continues to be a welcoming and valuable resource for riders of all ages and abilities.
If you see Vanessa at the Bike HUB or out in the community at an event or ride, please take a moment to introduce yourself. She is excited to meet the many people who help make Bike Ventura such a special part of our community.
Please join us in welcoming Vanessa to the BikeVentura family!
