Sierra Club is teaming with Bike HUB to get more kids riding forever more. Dozens of bikes are ready to be cleaned and fixed up then given away to needy local families. Anyone can clean off rust or oil a chain! More experienced bike mechanical skills very much welcome. All tools, parts and work gloves provided. Your clothes will get dirty, oily, greasy! Dress accordingly. Kids who can help work on bikes welcome ACCOMPANIED BY RESPONSIBLE ADULTS at all times. Please no pets. Signing a Sierra Club waiver is required at the event. Space is limited. Usually happens monthly on the second Sunday of the month from 9 am – Noon. Check the calendar for the next Kids’ Bike Clean and Fix Day.
