On Sunday, The Channel Islands Bike Club (CIBike) is donating over $5,500 worth of helmets and lights to distribute to Thomas Fire Victims along with the 200 brand-new bikes donated by Giant. It’s important that people getting these bikes can ride safely too! We’re so grateful for this amazing club that is so active in our County – consider joining the club if you love riding with a group of awesome people that are working to make cycling become safer and more enjoyable.
The Channel Islands Bike Club has been an outstanding partner of BikeVentura and the HUB for years through grants, donations, and working together to advocate for better bikeways in Ventura County.
In keeping with that tradition, but also going above and beyond to support BikeVentura, CIBike has awarded us a grant of $7,500 to pay the rent at our new headquarters and home of the Ventura Bike HUB. This contribution comes at a crucial time, as we look to grow our capacity to serve the Ventura community.
