In the wake of the Thomas Fire disaster, we shifted our priorities to work to help heal the community: we raised $720 for the United way, and coordinated with a National Bike Manufacturer, Local Government and over 50 volunteers to get 200 brand-new bikes to people who lost everything in the Thomas Fire.
Bike Ventura listened to the needs of a community in recovery, and delivered. Now we turn to enriching our home through our mission: to build a stronger community for all through bicycle education, advocacy, and empowerment. We’ve shown we can get the job done, and now we shift back into working with you to make Ventura a safe place for everyone to ride. Your membership supports efforts to expand our work, and quickly mobilize for unforeseeable events.
